Try Rugby This Fall – Free Clinics for Boys & Girls

Mother Lode Rugby is opening the season with three free clinics at Ernie Sheldon Park in Folsom — the perfect way for boys and girls ages 6–18 to give rugby a try. Whether you’re brand new to the sport or a returning player looking to shake off the rust, these sessions are fun, fast-paced, and welcoming for all levels.

🗓 Clinic Dates & Times:

  • Sunday, October 26th
    • U8–U10: 3–4pm
    • U12 + Middle School: 4–5pm
    • High School: 5–6pm
  • Sunday, November 2nd
    • U8–U10: 3–4pm
    • U12 + Middle School: 4–5pm
    • High School: 5–6pm
  • Sunday, November 9th
    • U8–U10: 2–3pm
    • U12 + Middle School: 3–4pm
    • High School: 4–5pm

Each clinic is run by our experienced coaching staff and introduces players to rugby’s fundamentals — teamwork, respect, and of course, plenty of fun. No prior experience is needed, just bring energy, athletic shoes, and a willingness to try something new.

    Hello and good morning.

    Do my sons need cleats for this clinic or just tennis shoes?

      Cleats are recommended for better grip and safety especially if the field is grassy
