INTEGRITY: Encouraging honesty, fairness, and strong moral principles on and off the field.

FUN:  Ensuring that the enjoyment and love of the game remain central to the rugby experience.

Mother Lode Rugby recently completed our 2023-2024 season where we had teams in all age groups from U8 to High School varsity with a combined over 200 players! This was a great season with many highlights including

  • Varsity boys tour to New Zealand to play rugby and explore the culture
  • Our youth teams played rugby in the snow at El Dorado HS
  • Varsity girls traveled to Oregon this summer for a 7’s tournament
  • Varsity/JV boys traveled to Utah this summer for a 7’s tournament
  • 10+ boys and girls declared with various colleges to play rugby

Practice dates/times will be released soon. Generally, the youth teams (U8- Middle School) practice Tuesday and Thursday starting in December and ending in March. Highschool practices are generally Tue/Wed/Thur from March until May. All teams have an optional summer 7’s season as well that goes from June-July. Games are almost always Saturday’s for all age groups
