U8 Coed Flag Rugby: Our U8 team is open to boys and girls who are 6, or 7 years old as of September 1st before the season starts. No prior experience is needed – just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!

U10 Coed Rugby: Our U10 team is open to boys and girls who are 7, 8, or 9 years old as of September 1st before the season starts. This age group provides a perfect introduction to the sport, balancing fun and skill development.

U12 Coed Rugby: Our U12 team is for boys and girls who are 10 or 11 years old as of September 1st before the season starts. This age group offers a perfect transition between introductory rugby and the more advanced middle school level. No prior rugby experience required!

Middle School Girls Rugby: Our Middle School Girls team is open to girls in grades 6-8, typically ages 12-14. Whether you’re new to rugby or have experience, this program is designed to challenge and inspire young female athletes.

Middle School Boys Rugby: Our Middle School Boys team is open to boys in grades 6-8, typically ages 12-14. We welcome players of all experience levels, from rugby newcomers to seasoned youth players.

Girls High School Rugby: Our Girls High School program is open to all girls in grades 9-12. We accommodate different skill and experience levels.

Boys High School Rugby: Our Boys High School program is open to all boys in grades 9-12. We offer multiple teams to accommodate different skill and experience levels.

Girls and Boys High School

• Practice begins 1st week of December with games from
  February through May

Practices are held at both Livermore Park in Folsom and Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills

Registration is a 2 step process:

Step 1: register via Rugby Xplorer.

Step 2: purchase team uniforms via our dedicated Kukri store by November 4th when the order window closes.

At Mother Lode Rugby, volunteering is how we keep the club strong. It’s more than just helping out – it’s part of our culture.

From setting up fields to preparing the post-match meals we share with visiting teams, parent support builds camaraderie, strengthens community, and ensures every player has a safe and fun experience.
