Mother Lode vs Jesuit Rugby Game for JV

Mother Lode finally got a chance to play Jesuit this year

After a long break of no practice, no games thanks to the weather and field shut downs, Mother Lode went out and played Jesuit.

First half Mother Lode was dominated and things were not looking too good for us.

Coaches made some adjustments to the game, and Mother Lode came out scoring in second half. After being down about 21 points plus, we ended up making the game a little competitive and came close with a loss by 11 points.

Final score for the game 36 Jesuit and 25 Mother Lode.

We need all players at practice as we have two games this week. Then run into play offs – we are ranked No 2 as of today.

Game 1 coming up in on Wed April 6th at Christa – Kick off at  4:45/ 5pm against Jesuit, Varsity will play after.

Game 2 Friday April the 8th – Tentative against Granit Bay at Christ (Varsity play after) – they are unbeaten.

Mother Lode Rugby JV (Frosh/Soph) Team played a great aggressive game, and brought another win for MLR!

With a final score 44 for Mother Lode and 30 for Dixon Rugby team, Mother Lode takes win!

This was a great game for Mother Lode, with great passing and running from the Dixon Rugby team, keeping this game on the edge. Mother Lode really pushed hard second half to make sure they kept the lead. Finishing with a absolutely fantastic TRY from Deshawn! Way to go Mother Lode Rugby.

Mother Lode Frosh/Soph Team vs Sierra

Sierra coming out to play the JV Mother Lode team with a 7 and 0 record.

Mother Lode started off strong but soon Sierra found a way to get their runners going and putting up some nice scores. Mother Lode started making a come back in 2nd half but run out of time. Ending this game with a 36 to 12 loss for Mother Lode.

This is a first game Mother Lode Frosh/Soph team lost, making their record 2 – 1 and counting the KOT tournament 4 wins and 2 losses.

Frosh/Soph, Mother Lode vs. Christian Brothers Results

The Frosh/Soph Team just got done playing the Christian Brothers team and they took another win for the season. Everyone should be proud of how all the Mother Lode players played and won. The Christian Brothers have a great rugby team but today Mother Lode brought out the team that won the game. We all look forward to playing another game against Christian Brothers. Good Job Mothe Lode!
